Enos
Enos, or Enosh, was the son of Seth and grandson of Adam. In his time people began to call upon the name of the Lord, a phrase associated with public worship or renewed devotion to God.
Biblical Usage
In Enos’s time, people began to call upon the name of the Lord. This may mean that they publicly and earnestly worshiped the Lord, or that they distinguished themselves by his name from idolaters.
