ENORMITY
A term for wickedness, especially shameful or immoral conduct. In the Law it can refer to unnatural wickedness, including incest.
Biblical Usage
The term appears as a marginal or revised rendering of “lewdness” or “wickedness” in Hosea and Leviticus. In the Levitical contexts it concerns prohibited sexual wrongdoing.
