The city Cain built in the land of Nod and named after his son Enoch. Its location is unknown, and it may have been a simple fortified settlement.
Biblical Usage
Genesis records the city as part of Cain’s life after he settled east of Eden. Its building represents an advance in civilization and may have provided protection for Cain, his wife, and his household.
