Elul
Elul was the sixth month of the Hebrew religious year and the twelfth month of the civil year, corresponding approximately to August and September.
Biblical Usage
Elul is mentioned in the account of the completion of the wall of Jerusalem. It is also named in the First Book of Maccabees.
