Edar
Edar, or the Tower of the Flock, was a place near Bethlehem where Jacob halted. In Micah, “tower of the flock” is used figuratively of Bethlehem and its royal significance.

In Micah, the Tower of the Flock is used as a designation of Bethlehem and figuratively represents the royal line of David that sprang from Bethlehem.
