Derbe

Derbe was a city in the eastern part of Lycaonia visited by Paul on his missionary journeys. Paul preached there and made many disciples; Gaius of Derbe later traveled with him.
Biblical Usage
Paul came to Derbe after leaving Lystra, preached there, and later returned through the region. Gaius of Derbe accompanied Paul to Jerusalem. Derbe is not included among the places where Paul suffered persecution.
