Decapolis
The Decapolis was a league or district of ten predominantly Greek cities east and southeast of the Sea of Galilee. It is mentioned in the ministry of Jesus and in the travels of His followers.
Biblical Usage
The Decapolis is mentioned in connection with Jesus’ ministry and with the spread of His fame. It is also associated with the region from which the delivered man proclaimed what Jesus had done.
