Daniel
Daniel was a Jewish exile who served God faithfully in the courts of Babylon and Persia. God gave him wisdom to interpret dreams and visions, and he received prophetic revelations concerning kingdoms and the future triumph of God’s rule.
Biblical Usage
Daniel interpreted royal dreams and the writing on Belshazzar’s wall, served as a high official, survived the lions’ den, and received visions concerning earthly kingdoms and the future triumph of God’s kingdom.
