Convenient, in older Bible language, means suitable, fitting, needful, or occurring at an appropriate time. It may describe an opportune season or something proper to the situation.
Biblical Usage
The Revised Version uses “convenient” chiefly for a suitable time or season. In other passages it replaces the older term with “needful,” “right,” “befitting,” “fitting,” or “opportunity.”
