Clouted
Clouted means patched or repaired. The worn clothing and footwear of the Gibeonites were described as clouted in their attempt to deceive Israel (Joshua 9:5).
Biblical Usage
The Gibeonites presented clouted shoes and clothing in their attempt to make Israel believe that they had come from a distant land.
