Capernaum was a city on the Sea of Galilee that became Jesus’ principal Galilean center. It witnessed many teachings and miracles but was condemned for unbelief.
Biblical Usage
Jesus taught there, performed many miracles there, and called disciples there. The city witnessed the discourse on the bread of life and was condemned for its impenitence and unbelief despite the works performed in it.
