Cana of Galilee was the village where Jesus performed His first recorded miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding feast. It was also associated with Nathanael and lay in the uplands west of the Sea of Galilee.
Biblical Usage
At a marriage feast in Cana, Jesus turned water into wine. He later went from Cana to Capernaum and returned there in response to a centurion’s request. Nathanael is also associated with Cana.
