BRETHREN OF THE LORD
The men called Jesus' brothers in the Gospels and Acts, including James and Jude. They initially did not believe in His mission but later joined the disciples after His resurrection; their precise family relationship has been discussed in Christian tradition.
Biblical Usage
During Jesus’ ministry, His brothers accompanied His family but did not believe His claims and even ridiculed them. After the resurrection and ascension they joined the disciples in prayer and later participated in missionary activity; James is called the Lord’s brother.
