Bracelet
Bracelets were ornamental bands or chains worn by both women and men, sometimes on the arms, wrists, or ankles. They could also serve as royal insignia, jewelry offered to God, or a cord associated with a signet.
Biblical Usage
Bracelets appear as gifts to Rebekah, royal insignia associated with a crown, ornaments offered to God, and jewelry worn by men and women. In Tamar’s pledge, the related term may refer to the cord by which a signet was suspended.
