Boaz

Boaz was a wealthy and honorable man of Bethlehem who married Ruth and became the father of Obed, ancestor of David. Boaz was also the name of one of the two bronze pillars before Solomon’s temple.
Biblical Usage
Boaz is presented in Ruth as the redeemer who accepted responsibility for Ruth and the family property when the nearer kinsman declined. Through Obed, he stands in the ancestry of David and is named in the genealogical line of Jesus.
