BECOME
To become means to enter a new state or condition. In biblical usage it may also describe what is fitting or proper, such as conduct consistent with one’s profession of faith.
Biblical Usage
The New Testament uses the term for change, for what is fitting, and for conduct appropriate to Christian profession. Scripture also speaks of holiness becoming God’s house and of believers walking becomingly toward outsiders.
