Azotus
Azotus is the Greek name for Ashdod, the Philistine city. Philip preached there after the Ethiopian official’s baptism and then traveled through the region.
Biblical Usage
After the Ethiopian official was baptized, Philip was found at Azotus and preached as he passed through the region toward Caesarea.
