AUTHOR
“Author” may mean the cause or originator of something. In Hebrews, Jesus is presented as the leader and pioneer of faith and as the one who brings salvation to His people through suffering.
Biblical Usage
Jesus is called the author of eternal salvation and the author or leader of salvation. In Hebrews He is also the pioneer and perfecter of faith, the supreme example before the faithful.
