Biblical architecture includes the construction of cities, fortifications, dwellings, the tabernacle, the temple, and other public works. Solomon’s temple and palace were Israel’s most notable architectural projects, employing stone, cedar, bronze, and gold.
Biblical Usage
The tabernacle was made according to a pattern, and Solomon’s temple was designed and submitted for approval. Scripture also presents building, measuring, estimating cost, fortifying cities, and constructing the temple and palace as significant works.
