Andrew was a fisherman from Bethsaida, the brother of Simon Peter, and one of Jesus’ twelve apostles. He was among the first to follow Jesus and repeatedly brought others to Him.
Biblical Usage
Andrew brought Simon Peter to Jesus and later pointed Jesus to the boy with the loaves and fishes. He also helped introduce Greeks who wished to see Jesus and joined Peter, James, and John in asking about the Lord’s future coming.
