Amraphel
Amraphel was king of Shinar and one of the rulers allied with Chedorlaomer in the campaign against Sodom and the cities of the plain. Abraham later pursued the victorious kings and rescued Lot.
Biblical Usage
Amraphel appears in the Genesis account of the eastern kings’ invasion and the battle in the Valley of Siddim. He is connected with the capture of Lot and with the campaign from which Abraham rescued Lot and the other captives.
