Amramites
The Amramites were a Levitical family descended from Amram. They belonged to the Kohathite division and helped guard the tabernacle and its sacred furnishings.
Biblical Usage
The Amramites guarded the ark, table, candlestick, and other furnishings of the tabernacle. They are also associated with the treasures of the house of the Lord.
