Abijah

Abijah is the name of several Old Testament people, including Samuel’s son, a priestly family head, kings of Judah and Israel, and the mother of Hezekiah. The name means “the LORD is father.”
Biblical Usage
The name Abijah includes Samuel’s son, whose conduct as a judge contributed to Israel’s demand for a king; the son of Jeroboam, in whom some good thing toward the Lord was found; and the son of Rehoboam, who became king of Judah and is also called Abijam. It also identifies the priestly course associated with Zacharias and the mother of Hezekiah.
