The Zuzim were a people conquered by Chedorlaomer and his allies. They are mentioned as dwelling in Ham, a region whose location is otherwise unknown. From the context, Ham is inferred to have been east of the Jordan. The Zuzim may also have been a race of giants and were perhaps identifiable with the Zamzummim.
In Genesis 14:5, the Zuzim appear among the peoples conquered by Chedorlaomer. Their description in the passage is associated with a strong nation, and the context permits the inference that they were a race of giants.
Ham, the region where the Zuzim dwelt, is otherwise unknown, but its position is inferred from the context to have been east of the Jordan. The Zuzim were perhaps the same people later identified as the Zamzummim.
