Coos, or Cos, was a small island in the Aegean Sea near the coast of Asia Minor. Paul passed it on his return from his third missionary journey (Acts 21:1).

Coos, or Cos, was a small island in the Aegean Sea among the Sporades, off the coast of Caria and northwest of Rhodes. It lay near the routes connecting the Aegean and the coast of Asia Minor.

Paul passed the night at Coos on his return from his third missionary journey after sailing from Miletus.
Historical Background
The island was later called Stanchio. Its position placed it among the Aegean islands near the coast of Asia Minor.
