Beth-gamul was a town of Moab in the plain country. Jeremiah named it among the Moabite cities destined for judgment.
Beth-gamul appears with Dibon, Kiriathaim, and Beth-meon in Jeremiah’s prophecy against Moab.
Possible identifications include Umm el-Jamal and Jemeil, but its precise location is uncertain. Some have questioned whether it should be sought north of the Arnon.
