"Noah's Ark"

In this image, Noah and his family are represented on the right and on the left is the ark and the animals, which enter in pairs, while in the sky the birds are flying towards the Ark. Above the middle, God, surrounded by clouds, points to the ark with his right hand.

Theodore Poulakis (1622–1692) was a Greek Renaissance painter and teacher. He is considered the father of the Heptanese school and one of the most prolific painters of Venetian Crete.  Some of his paintings escaped the traditional Greek manner and exhibit fuller shapes and variations of color. He often fill edthe canvas with figures.
