"The Mystical Nativity"

When this painting was exhibited in 1857 in Manchester,UK,  more than a million people viewed it, and slowly Botticelli's frescoes in Italy began to receive considerable attention. 

This work is referred to as “Mystic” for combining the birth of Jesus with a vision of his Second Coming in the New Testament.
